Fix: Specter is NOT moderate, he is a flaming liberal! I don't know how he keeps avoiding the boot, but its not going to matter soon. (Rick Santorum, the icon of conservatism, pissed us all off by endorsing Specter for his role on the senate Judicial committee, arguably one of the most important positions in government) The other disaster we have waiting to happen is the Lynn Swann /Ed Rendell race for this November. Swann is a moron (He had to have Letterman tell him what the abortion law in PA was) but I'd rather have a dumb Steeler than Fast Eddie. We're giving them all the boot. The only concern is the Santorum/Casey race. Bob Casey, a lib, has reached out to conservatives, by even stating that he is pro-life, and Santorum continues to try and moderate himself. My brother is suppose to meet with him in about a week and is going to tell him to be conservative and let us do the rest come November.

How does Specter dodge getting booted? I always thought he was a moderate. Now, it looks like he is worse than a moderate.

The guy's a twit, too.

Good thing your brother is on the inside, Tim! We need more pressure from witihin.

It'll be interesting to see how many of these senators are flat-lined at the booth when the final tally comes in. I think they're all in for a big wake up call, including the GOP. We just had this happen in my state of PA. My brother is a political consultant, you can check out his site freepa.org and jasonhigh.freepa.org to get the idea. We just had our Republican primaries and we watch a bunch of incumbents, many of which served more than 30 years, get voted right out of office. Want to know how they felt? Shock and awe. Hey, when we vote for conservatives, we want them to act like conservatives. If not, we'll vote them out. Luckily, the guy who my brother managed the campaign for, John Eichleberger, had a huge upset by defeating Bob Jubelirer, a guy who served PA for almost 40 years. Let that be a lesson to all Republicans out there who haven't done anything to reach out to their conservative base, and decided rather to moderate.
